Yeah...That's what I have been seeing alot here lately.

The attitude of the moderators is:"If you do not believe exactly the way we believe...Then you need to shut up and not post here anymore...If you do continue to post your beliefs here we will continue to make threats of kicking you off the forum...People are more likely to believe what we believe rather than listening to your views(very self centered attitude)...Because we are really special and La Dee Dah!!"

It makes me so sick I could vomit...Them thinking they have a monopoly on how people can speak or act or react....It is as if one must act a certain way...Speak a certain way...And react a certain way...In order to be welcome here......."you all gotta do what we say...people can not be themselves here...they must be what we tell them to be...Biblical rules do not apply here...Just our rules do"

IT MAKES ME SICK!!

The stones are flying on all directions, maybe it would be easier if everyone would leave the stones home and build a nice castle of them and then think about everything again.

I must say that it's quite sad that MD is gone. I also liked his writings, not always having the same opinions but the one thing I liked about him (this sounds like some would have died ) is that he made atleast me think about things and my views and opinions and that's always good. I also feel his passion for Christ and the love of Christ was a big thing in his speach. Now this is the other side of the coin, but to be fair you must also look on the other side (on the other side everyone of us is a saint but Jesus came to clean the whole coin). MD also had some not-so-nice-writings and he did have his bad moments with some out of context taken quotes and stuff like that and I don't know the stuff in the history (but then by gones are by gones (or what ever you americans say )right (?)). In the end of the day we are all just humanbeings with failures in our lives. I ofcourse see how the "How to witness a christafarian?"-booklet was quite a direct act against Mark Mohr and Christafari and that's ofcourse a not-that-good-thing for LOZ but in my eyes some parts the critizism shown in that booklet (and over here in the forum) has got some ideas that should be thinked about over the LOZ.

To put it all together, I'm sad that MD is gone but I understand why this all have happened. "There's not enough room in this town for the two of us!". Sad but true. Division between brothers is always a victory for the devil.

greetings in that divine and most precious name of Our Lord and Savior Yahshua Immanuel!

Messian Dread has been holding down the vibes on this board and on the web for so many years now, as long as i have been in Rastafari. When I first came into the work, I was a lifelong baptist and couldn't agree with worshipping the Emperor. But many of the ideas of Rastafari were beginning to answer the unanswered questions.

such as if the bible promises that David's descendents will reign for ever, where are these descendents reigning?

and how could Yahshua be a white man? or how could white jews be semitic Israelites?

I had stumbled across Christafari's website, and after reading their FAQ I knew that it was trouble. I didn't doubt Ethiopia so much as Mark Mohr seems to. I was never comfortable in the Western System, though they claim to be Christian (the West), clearly is not, for you judge a tree by its fruit.

Messian Dread was one of the first Rastas I had reasoned with and read words by that were not proclaiming Selassie God. He was one of the first brethren who made me feel confident that I could in fact be a Rastafarian without worshipping the Emperor. (at a time where certain rastas were telling me to take off my banner and forget about Africa because i couldn't be a rasta at all) For this i am gratefull, and for this He should stay around. His vibes, while coming across as combative to those wolves in sheeps clothing who hide amongst christians and judge where they should not, is a blessing!

In this board that is obviously developed to convert Rastafarians into evangelical christians and to keep evangelical christians who love reggae from becoming rastas, it is essential that all branches of both the Evangelical American Christian and the Africa minded Rastafari Christian. All Rastas are Christians, whether they worship the Emperor or not, because they at least believe they are worshipping Christ. As it has been said before, many Rastafarians are not worshipping the wrong God, they are just worshipping God wrong. And i know from my life experiences, that Western Christians are just as guilty of worshipping God wrong as anybody else.

Messian Dread should come back and spread the vibration of truth!

Yours in Christ

In fairness to various views expressed here, some Rastas (like 12TribesLion) seem to refuse the name "Christian" (though I suspect he is anyway), and some seem to reject worshipping Y'shua (I have no idea why). Apart from such exceptions, I generally agree with you.

what did ones think was going to happen to MD, wid deh ulterior agenda of LOZ? Ini give thanks fi dis forum but ones catch feelings here too easily. like deh one sistren stated if a man is steadfast in him foundation what can move him? Ini will say it and Christians and Rases will fiyah bun Ini alike but Christians do not have an exclusive claim to salvation, period. simply for deh fact dat every story of meaning within deh I-ble has a predacessor that predates it, every story! now if one chooses to study, follow and acknowledge deh I-ble as deh supreme source, fine, as long as one exudes it in ones livity.
fi di sistren who commented about deh herb usage, who are you to fight against a creation dat was here before you and dat you cannot create nor destroy? use unu energy for more pressing issues dan one of Jah's creations, cite? Mark Mohr, Ini hope dat unu staff knows what it is doing because MD was one of deh best weapons dis forum had in accomplishing unu mission because he did not cite up deh divinity of Haile Selassie I. He was very knowledgeable, matter of fact more knowledgeable about deh Ras movement dan most pon deh forum who are not Ras demselves. to quote JonaGus regarding not so nice postings "

so Ini guess dis will be Ini's not so nice word/sound/fiyah, lol
