Yesssss.....I have a hard time there, too...at the moment. It's because I try to appeal to an open mind.... http://www.rasta-forum.de/smf/index.php?topic=2712.0 It's the same I told in my post here. Why all this striving for bossiness? Some RasTAs and some Christians are not that different. Look at me...or you...I mix up RasTa and Christianity; and even some RasTas are more liberal than others. They don't see Selassie as God or Yesus, they don't see the Six HolyTruths as a maxim. So Christians and RasTas are (sometimes) not that different at all. Hey, we are all searching for the truth, aren't we? I am sure God does not want us to fight like this. Who profits from the "fire pon this and that" and the "burn this and that"? Why do some RasTas and Christians always have to end discussions with personal offences?

I really cannot understand it.

And yes, it was a good joke to call you a kind of undercover agent

Hey brethren and sistren!

I am new here aswell and i think i came to this forum because of the same motivations JahWarrior has...*gg*

Hello to all of you!!

I hope that GOD guides us all!! We need Him so much!! I pray that he opens our eyes and fill us with his spirit so that we can spread His words and shine His light...

When discussing spirituall topics i can often feel some bad vibes coming up deep inside myself. They say.."Ohh..you know better! You know GOD better than others. They dont know..." and that guides to pride...

I hate that because that's not what GOD wants and it seperates me from Him and then all i say leads to confussion and seperation... So i think when we reason about things - doesn't matter with whom - it should be the first thing to be filled with spirit and ask GOD for his guidance and wisdom...

Love!!
Don Quichotte

ps: I hope the things i have just written even fit into this converstion because i just started writing and continued...hehe...

blessed love to deh new members,
Ini as a Nyahbhingi Ras do overstand dat ones have abused deh powah of fiyah, but please overstand dat some of it is deh release of frustration and righteous anger. neverdehless, som things are flat out wrong and need to be bun'd. rapist, child molesters, thiefs widout definite need, murderers, homosexuality and atheism are some of dese. Ini know dat ones are going to say dat dere are no sins greater dan another but Jah does specify deh difference between transgressions and abominations.
deh fiyah is an individual judgement upon deh action not deh person, which is meant to get deh attention of deh perpetrator to turn away from dere destructive actions, seen.

Blessed love perfectloveinH.I.M.!

I know the symbolic meaning of fyah+bun. But there is the tendency to squall FYAH whenever something differs from one's POV, seen? And some Yutes take the FYAH + BUN in literal sense
Uuuhhhmmm...I know, RasTA nah deal with Homosexuality...but here we have to differentiate, I guess. I do not like Homosexuality as a consequence of lust and sexual boredom. But I accept Homosexuality as a matter of LOVE! I know, most Rastas and Christians do believe that Homosexuality is a sin, a sign of evil, maybe a sickness. But it is definitely not. I know that because I know lesbian and gay people who share a love and relationship some heteros should take as an example! And they are good Christians, too.

Never forget:

Ephesians
Eph.4

26] Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
[27] Neither give place to the devil.

29] Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

31] Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
[32] And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Selah!

That has got nothing to do with the question if homosexuality is a sin or not. The answer for that you'll find from the Scriptures not by watching how people act. (But now this is totally offtopic, there should be another thread about that (and there probably is 3 of them already)). Anyway the Scriptures clearly show that homosexualism is a sin.

Yessss....Lots of discussions on german boards, too.....

BUT...with all due respect, the bible describes homosexuality as a sin when it is because of lust. Like Sodom+Gomorrah...where they wanted to "f***" their guests because of sexual boredom.

God loves his creation. Homos are his creation, too ( since they are human beings). It is nothing you decide to be or not to be. Okay, there are some people trying to be homo because they think it is cool or whatever. That is SIN! But if you feel love ( and I mean LOVE) for someone of your own gender, you cannot be blamed for it. Sorry, my POV, underlined by the bible scripts. ( By the way, please give me the passages, where you think, homosexuality is condemned...we can talk about it by pm or in another thread...yesss... )

And, let's not forget, who are WE, to blame or condemn our neighbour?
First of all, a Homo is a human being. His love/ sexuality is something, he/ she has to clarify with Jah for himself/ herself.

But, you're right, that is off topic.

Jah guidance!
