God the Son is always omnipotent.

We believe Y'shua is God, not the Father. There is no contradiction between these two beliefs.

IN MY OPINION TO KILL MOST OF THIS MANMADE "CONTRADICTING' CONFUSION I KEEP MY SPIRITUAL QUOTE THAT STATES ANY WICKED MAN IS A DEVIL IN FLESH, ANY RIGHTEOUS MAN IS JAH IN FLESH

Above you created an analogy between Selassie I and Nicholi, and in saying that the qualities and traits that Selassie I had were similar to those of 'many other leaders' specifically Nicholi whom you then say "is not fit for politics or a monarchy" you draw attach those same attributes to Selassie I (or maybe it is I who read incorrectly)

Someone else said Selassie made mistakes. I'm not saying he did or he didn't. I'm saying that it wouldn't matter if he did: that it is possible to make mistakes as a monarch and still be regarded a great man. I see no disrespect in it. If you want to read disrespect into it, that just means you don't know me very well.

you then attempt to justify it by saying "other people said he made mistakes".

Read the posts yourself. Jah Pickney said it, not I.

HIM worked him whole life to mordernize and improve Ethiopia

I know. It is a very admirable goal.

and you say he was a leader who was not cut out for monarchy?

No, I said Tsar Nicholas II was not. But even if ones claim Selassie made mistakes, it does not mean he was not a very great man.

There were lions in the land and surrounding areas in ancient times. C.f. Judges 14, 1Sam 17, 1Kings 13, 2Kings 17, etc. "In early historic times lions ranged over Eurasia from E Europe to India and over all of Africa." Now they are endangered.

Jonagus -- I have no problem admitting that Rastafari has grown from Christianity and Judaism -- but you must admit that Judaism nor Christianity represent "source" material or rather root material -- they too are derived religions.

Elements from many cultures have been adopted into Judaism and Christianity. I do not deny that at all. It is the nature of these religions to seek out the good in every culture and incorporate it. And I don't have any complaints about Rastas incorporating and using Jewish and Christian imagery, either, so long as they don't claim it is exclusively their own and deny Jews & Christians their use.

JONAGUS

& I TAKE IT FROM YESHUAHS WORD, IF YOU LIVE RIGHTEOUS UNTO JAH HEEDING THE WORDS & EXAMPLES THAT YESHUAH BROUGHT FORTH, THEN YOU WILL BE FOUND WORTHY TO BE CALLED A SON OF JAH.

REMEMBER ALSO YESHUAH SAYING THAT IF YOU BELIEF IN HIM, THEN YOU HAVE BELIEVED IN THE PERSON WHO SEND HIM. ''IF YOU BELIEF IN THE MESSENGER, THEN YOU HAVE BELIEVED IN HIS MASTER???"

"I SAY MOST OF EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT YESHUAH & HIS FATHER IS JUST MANMADE CREATING MORE CONFUSION THAN THERE ALREADY IS"

BLESS!!

Would I be offended if Y'shua is black? Are you kidding? My home is decorated with black images of Y'shua!

You can believe whatever you will. I follow the apostolic doctrines of Y'shua HaMashiach, handed down to us from his disciples in the first centuries. I profess the same Trinity that his imperial majesty Haile Selassie professed, which the Ethiopian Orthodox Church always professes. I believe that Y'shua HaMashiach is our Lord God and Creator, just as Selassie did, just as the Ethiopian Orthodox Church always has. This is the same faith Selassie proclaimed and told Christians to share throughout the world. Numerous Africans and other Christians gave their lives to defend the Christian doctrine of the incarnation of the Son of God. I will never recant it.
