WARRIOR I SEE YOU MISSED THE WHOLE POINT.

BLAMINACK SORRY, BUT THE BLOOD OF CHRIST YOU SPEAK OF WAS SHED TO SET INI FREE. MAYBE YOUR METHOD OF APPROACHING GOD IS NOT FREELY, BUT AS FOR ME INI AM FREE. YOU ALREADY KNOW THIS SO WHY DONT YOU GIVE US SOME BIBLICAL REFERENCES. WHAT I AM SAYING IS NO SET RITS & RITES SHALL JUSTIFY US. THATS ALL. SO YES I SAY ONE MORE TIME: GOD'S "METHOD" IS FREEDOM. TRUTH. SPIRITUAL. LOVE. CAN ANYBODY ON HERE BREAK OUT OF THE MENTAL SLAVERY BOX AND UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING?

JAH SON,
That's O.K. your POINT is dull!

I see you also are like many who have their opinion based on feelings instead of the word of GOD. You did not answer my question. You still seem to be in THE SAME CLOUD OF SMOKE.

Is the tree you talk about in the bible or not???????

There is no other point on this thread (which you started by stating things about this tree and the leaves).

Mental slavery as biblical term- The only mental slavery I know!!!!!

Romans 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the MIND of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

1 Cor 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the MIND of Christ.

Phil 2:5 Let this MIND be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus

So, I suppose your definition of mental slavery is that of man's opinion/definition.

Hi...just wanted to share something.

Quoting Jah Son:
"Did you know that in the Hebrew,
'seraphim' literally means, 'smoke
drinker'? Just a meditative thought."

Thought this was really interesting!
So I've done a l'il meditating on the
Word...

From the book of Isaiah...

In the year that king Uzziah died I
saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne,
high and lifted up, and his train filled
the temple.
Above it stood the seraphim: each one
had six wings; with twain he covered
his face, and with twain he covered
his feet, and with twain he did fly.
And one cried unto another, and said,
Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts:
the whole earth is full of his glory.
And the posts of the door moved at the
voice of him that cried, and the house
was filled with smoke.
Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone;
because I am a man of unclean lips,
and I dwell in the midst of a people of
unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen
the King, the Lord of hosts.
Then flew one of the seraphim unto me,
having a live coal in his hand, which he
had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo
this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity
is taken away, and thy sin is purged.
(Isaiah 6:1-7)

...and I gotta say...umm...I'd
put a big question mark beside a
holy angel of the Most High drinking
in ganja smoke.

I once read a quote by a fellow whose
name I can't recall...but it was something
to the effect of:
"I defend the word of God the same way
I would defend a lion. I just open the cage
and let it out."

Truly..the word stands on it's own!!!!!!!!!!!!

The above passage from Isaiah made me
think of this beautiful song...

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see you, I want to see you

To see you high and lifted up,
Shining in the light of your glory.
Lord, Pour out your power and love,
as we sing holy, holy, holy.

Holy, holy, holy
(you are)
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
I want to see you

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see you, I want to see you

To see you high and lifted up,
Shining in the light of your glory.
Pour out your power and love,
as we sing holy, holy, holy.

Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
I want to see you

I want to see you
(Lord I want to)
I want to see you

Sonicflood...Open The Eyes Of My Heart

in Jesus, <><

MD, I don't take to your point of view of this "united churchical" system which you often refer to, and this goes into the 'white jesus' thread as well. The churches out here are not as united in stances as you may think.

I take this as the summary of your writing. You wanted to make clear to me that not all churches say the same and that I can not really therefor speak about "mainstream christianity", right?

I didn't refer to "united churchical", simply to the churchical system. You mention racism and segregation as one of the points which proofs that there is no unification. Can I still not speak about the churchical system and the mainstream christian?

Ofcourse, I know there are differences between baptist and pentacostal. There are also similarities. Simple: otherwise none of them would even call themselves "church". So yes ofcourse there are differences and so yes ofcourse there is a common ground so to speak.

And that is what I refer to when I speak about the churchical system.

The whole idea of a "church", with audience and a stage containing a man they call reverend (in my language it's even worse and he's called dominee or lord) standing in between The Most High and the populus comes straight out of babylon. Literally.

The bible nowhere speaks about "church" as something else but the totality of the faithful. Not a building with a steeple. So even the single calling of that building with the word "church" is completely unbiblical.

Still it is very very evident that all the churches come from the same root. The established church, the church accepted by babylon system. When you read history you see always that what is called "the church" works hand in hand with the system to keep the people stupid, poor and ignorant.

You speak about the differences and that therefore there is nop unity. But I think it depends what your focus is. When you speak about herb, when you speak about "obeying the system", in other words when you speak about conforming to the system there is a remarkable unity in especially the mainstream "churches".

Mainstream? Yes. Ofcourse! Mainstream simply means where the most people go.

Will you deny (the existance of) the industry they call "CCM" as such, an industry? Will you deny (the existance of) the "TBN" sattelite channels in which the filth in entering the minds of the people, regardless of their denomination? How would you call that?

Ofcourse they have denominations and ofcourse there are congregations that are inline with the Most High and aimed at helping people to develope their own relationship with the Most High, through the work of the Divine Saviour Yesus Kristos. That's not the point. Most of the time these people would deny their building to be a church and they would deny their believe to be called denomination.

The point remains: 99% of what is called "the church" is against herbsmoking and I think I can therefore very safely speak about a mainstream christianity in this context (and others too, don't challenge me ).

Quote:
It seems as though your line of reasoning about herb is along the same lines as many Rastas that smoke herb out of the rebellion against the Christian church. it is a very judgemental reasoning in itself, but at the same time they say judge not. Hypocritical too is it not?

How can anyone "rebel" against the "christian church"? What nonsense is that? What authority does this "church" have? To smoke herb is to rebel against babylon system because babylon doesn't want the people to smoke herb, babylon wants the people to eat ritalin. And a lot of "churches" conform to babylon dungstem.

Story (really happenned lately): In my hometown there is a coffeeshop where I go to visit and meeet people and drink the best coffee in town fe real. Yes, this is a typical dutch coffeeshop, when you know what I mean here. I mean that people smoke herb there. Okay? So everytime I left the shop I looked left and I saw this huge sign: "Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Light". For years it was there, until it was no longer there. So at a certain moment I see a group of people in front of that building. I go to them and I asked what happenned to the sign. They said they removed it because "it gave too mich negativity" (LITERALLY!). I was s.h.o.c.k.e.d.! I said to them how can Yesus Kristos be negative? The female (!) spokesman said to me, when I went away to my car, "You did understand it, didn't you" in a somewhat authorative voice.

Now what does that say about "the church"? Mind you, this is a pentecostal church I speak of. I am really angry at them. What a losers, what a bunch of weakhearts. And these are the folks that do the new banner waiving to scare the duppies, you know.....

I want to rebel against that. I do not want to defend it. I do not want to be a part of that. I do not want to tell people to visit that building called church when they just born again. I seew outside these buildings much more growth.

I see an underground church.

Jetze,

I have a question for you... Are the Homosexuals that are getting married while it is against the law tearing down Babylon or building it up?

They're playing like one of them is male and the other female...
Homosexuals can't marry, when babylon say so or not. doesn't matter. Marriage is in the sight of JAH and JAH seh batty nah marry....

They're not "chanting down" anything at all.....

And I know why you ask this, however I think there's differences between battyman paractice and smoking herb.

I don't see a lot of differance. Here is why... Both think that their idea of society is best for all. Both see the law as evil. Both will disregard it with out any concern for the fact that law is the only thing that holds society together. They both flaunt the law breaking and mean for us all to just simply comply. In the actions of these people in Califonication is not differant in that the whole movement is based in Rebellion. Their actions are absolutly differant than the folks who are pushing the legaliztion of smoking weed. If people were not smoking and protesting in the mean time until laws are changed I would not feel this way. The tatics are the same. Not the deeds of ofcourse, (though homosexuals are known to be some of the most active users of illegal substances [I wonder if it is not the cover the guilt that they feel for their lifestyle] ) I know that you don't like this connection but please explain to me why you think that the princible behind it is differant....
