It's different to walk door to door getting some money for the red cross (a criminal organization) then to function as a PR spokesman. Very different.
Yes, different but still 2 different functions of one organization. This is my point. The person who is honestly donating money for charity has a different intention than the PR spokesman. I see myself as a fan of Christafari and have supported them by buying CD's, but I am not the spokesman for them, nor do I represent all of their viewpoints. Perhaps I mis-interpreted your words earlier to imply that anyone who supports them supports their views.

I think we should de-program the Christafarians. I am not good in that, but I do recognize mind control and brainwash as I have seen them many times. And I do not speak about Christafari specifically.
Yes, de-programming a mindset that is against christ teachings is what we're all about!!

If they do NOT support Christafari, if they do NOT express the view of Christafari, then Christafari has a problem. Which they allready have and which will become bigger with every minute Christafari does not rectify the wrongs.
I see it as an issue of agreeing/not agreeing with certain aspects of what Mark/Christafari believes. For example it has been expressed elsewhere that for example, that if it is still Mark's belief that there is no such thing as a Christian Rasta it is not the same for myself, Bill has said the same, along with a couple others as well. We can all agree that Jesus Christ is Messiah but for lack of a better term, "denomination" seperates us, which is actually a good thing depending on how you look at it. I can go over that somewhere else.

But until I get the proof that the moderators on the Lion of Zion forums do not support the teachings of Christafari I will stick with what is not my opinnion but a summary of the postings, actions, and principal of function from the Christafari moderators.

And when I get the proof that the moderators on the Christafari boards do not support the philosophy of Christafari, I would directly ask Mark Mohr for an official comment.
I respect that.

Then, before you start speaking about "messiandreadism" please remember that the words Christafari, Christafarianism and Christafarians are all invented by Mark Mohr. I have every right to use these words as they are introduced by Christafari.
To me Christafari and Christafarian means nothing else than a Christian. Wether you play/listen to reggae does not change the fact that you serve Jesus Christ and should not make a difference. This is why for me accepting Christafari was natural. Then again my philosophy on music is that neither one or the other belongs to any one group as they are all inspired by Jah so once again.. Christianity +/- Reggae = CHRIST no matter how you change the equasion.

I also do not claim to be a "pastor" whom "all" have to "obey". I do not call people who like my musical works "messiandreadists".
MMM.. careful here how much authority is placed upon a pastor. Anyone who obeys a pastor and not God is heading in the wrong direction. The word of a Pastor is first and foremost God's word and should be followed as God leads the pastor. But this also brings another good point though. If there are people blindly following then that's a problem, good intention or not.

The responsibility for misinformation and misrepresentation needs to be placed on those who are out there in Jamaica or the West Indies telling Rastas that they are all wrong and need to convert because Christafari or Christafarianism says to do so.

Everybody knows the monster of Frankenstein but nobody knows the name of this monster. That is because Frankenstein is responsible for the monster he created.

Clever analogy, but still a biased viewpoint IMO which is just fine I see it as Satan as the master of deception which will use the truth and twist it his way. Anyone's words can be used, Mark's, Mine, Yours...

Respect MD, trust me that your words have not fallen on deaf ears!

That is indeed one of the problems since the ones who get so freaked out and denied as Christian by Christafari are in many instances Christian too.

So it is NOT the same.

By stating that Christafari, Christafarianism and Christsfarians are interchangable with Christianity you

-1- deny those who are Christian and because of their Christianity not Christafari.

-2- follow Christafari in their ridiculous claim to a monopolous position in Christianity when it comes to Rastafari.

- No one can tell me that I do not believe in Jesus Christ.
- No one can tell that to a Rasta without first reasoning with that Rasta,
- No one can assume that everyone who represents Rastafari does not believe in Christ. This same reasoning can be applied to all "denominations".

I am stating that Christafari/Christafarianism/Christafarians are foundationally Christians. it is not interchangable because you should not separate Christ. I think I see it as one in the same whereas you say that a Rasta cannot identify himself as a Christafarian which to me only says that a Rasta does not hold the same opinion/views as Mark Mohr. There is nothing wrong with that, God encourages that!! Let every man be led by God, not man.

Your three points are exactly what Christian Rastafarians are trying to get through.............

Still Christafari does all these things to Christian Rastafarians for in public they state that Christian Rastafarians are "deceivers" (which is a denial of ther faith) where on this forum and in private they do admit that they can not state that (for they admit the existabce oif the Christian Rastafarians and by that admit that their public statements are false, or in his own words, a misrepresentation

So unless you think that denying the faith of Christian Rastafarians in public and admitting this misrepresentation in private is a key element of Christianity, I think you should be very carefull in equation Christafarianism with Christianity.

It's like the Palestinians and the Christian Zionists. If you change "palestinian" for "rastafarian" you will see it a bit clearer I think.

Not all Palestinians are Muslims but the Christian Zionists don't bother and allways speak about "the Palistinians" and then they support Israel in bombing the Palistinians. And no I do not support bombing Muslims.
