It is very true, Jah does not need traditional Christianity to draw folks to himself.

Also true that sometimes traditional Christianity is what draws them away.

Sometimes I think we over complicate things. God has a way of making things more simple for us to understand.

(Jhn 14:6)
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

(Jam 1:27)
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world.

(Mat 22:36-40)
Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

These things are what makes a true follower of Jah. He needs nothing. He offers everything.

Is it not so, that there is a lot to say about "Christianity", especially when you take it in the context of Rastafari.

Just like there is a lot of confusion about the "white geezus" or "ss Jesus of Babylon"if you will, vs Yesus Kristos our Lord God and Saviour, there is also a lot of confusion when we are dealing with "Christianity

"What is Christianity, and who is calling ti Christianity?"

Sometimes, you know, you read stuff like old documents. And then you read how the slavemasters from babylon greeted each other by calling King James and the Bible and all that, and then they go over into expressing how to establish racism in the heart and minds of the people to keep them divided.

What is the Jesus, the Christianity of those people? Mind you, there is a lot of speak about a socalled "Judeo-Christian Civilization" when it comes to describing the western world. Who is the god of that religion? Indeed, look at the fruits.......

There is also mention of people expressing their believe in the Saviour, the Incarnated JAH, Yesus Kristos, Yahoshuah ha Mashiach. People who realize their sin, their need for salvation coming out of an inability to pay for one's own sins..... The Yesus Who told us to love the Truth, the Yesus Who told us to love each other. The Yesus Who came to set us FREE!

Now, which Jesus we speak of? This might be something to consider, because it is the movement of Rastafari who has exposed this false Geezus of Babylon as being a fallen angel of lucifer.

And when we speak about the Real YESUS, why then are we defending a tradition: a systemized, institutionalized and even industrialized "religion", only aimed at keeping people in slavery?

"Be a good christian, be a good babylonian, pay your taxes, obey the government, listen to the preacher, the teacher and the policeman"? Because that is the teaching coming from this systemized christianity.

The purpose of this post was to show that many come to Messiah apart from what the general population considers to be an accepatable route. RasTafari is a movement that involves resistance to Babylon. It is interesting to note, from the posts elsewhere on the site, that many RasTafari come to know the Messiah and, also, discover the hypocrisy and error that is inherent in Western faith. Messian Dread makes a good point in this respect.

However, it should also be noted that there is not enough respect given to those who believe the message of the Bible, yet do not adhere to the Xian cultural standards. That is why many find Yabby You to be an enigma. They like his music, but do not know how to relate to him since he will not involve himself with the Western Xian culture.

Also, this raises a few ?'s concerning the RasTafari information that is available on this site. I think LOZ should rethink/restudy and report a new group of information concerning its RasTa faqs. M Dread made some good points in this respect.

YHWH (which loosely translates to "eternally existent, perpetually revealing himself)/Jah is constantly revealing himself to the world. Xians would do well to realize that they do not have sole access to Messiah mercy. Also, they would do well to take the critiques of other cultures seriously.

About Zema, I like some of her stuff. Does anyone have a website for her?

Mikeroots

This question is not asked to start trouble...It is a simple "Yes..or..No" question.

Do you believe in pampering a nonbeliever?...Do you think one should pat a nonbeliever on the back in hopes that they will become a believer?
