I can't speak for "warthog", but every time a Rasta, a wannabee Rasta or another "dissident" expresses his disagreement in a certain emotional way, there will allways be people pointing out to the fact that critique isn't "peacefull"or "humble" or whatever.

So if someone comes to you, looking like you, dressed like you, talking like you, walking like you, only to show you how wrong and sinfull you are, I wouldn't be suprised if you would have an emotion towards that.

{Messian, I meant to write this a while ago but anyway here goes...} messian at the same time though when a few of us in here make posts that somewhat agree we get jumped on. When I wrote what I wrote back when about this topic your response was "and so the discussion ends ends with this political crap..." which I personally take offense to. My words are by no means to condone one viewpoint or the other as a matter of fact I agree with you and I agree with some things that Christafari has written.

Sometimes I feel as though if someone does not jump on your bandwagon they automatically belong to someone else's and that's not true. I have said, Aaronjudah has said, Bill has said...etc.. that the views don't represent everyone, rasta and Christian. I totally understand your gripe with Mark and/or Christafari and I can agree.. if after all this time there are no responses then I would be upset too. Just be mindful of how sometimes your words can generalize which is not our (and I purposefully generalize here) intention.

To those wishing the information be changed:

Let me pose a few questions here, and if they have already been answered please forgive my ignorance... and show me where they have been answered, thanks.

A journalist writing a story or article about a topic is supposed to remain neutral about the topic they are writing, yet you can (mostly) tell what opinion the writer holds.
1) Should the FAQ's be written in a way that simply states fact and not be opinionated?

Assuming that the changes were made, fact is fact, there are no generalizations, and the reader is given a skew-free version of Rasta and Christianity.
2) How then is the reader to understand Christafari and the context of symbols: Red gold green, "Lion of Zion" etc? My point being is that to answer the second question is to come back to the original point of contention of "Well, what they [Christafari] are saying is incorrect because for Rastas to say "Lion of Zion" means.... and for Christians to say "Lion of zion" means... and then we are back at zero. No clarification, just confusion.

3) Is Christafari entitled to their own opinion of what Christianity and Rasta is? (Esp. when you think of Mark as a Pastor)

The reason why [1] is not applied is because then [2] will be revealed as having no basis in scripture either.

And do they have the right to their opinnion? Sure. If you want to believe the earth is flat, go right ahead.

I do not recall the statement you quoted me, but I'm sure I said it somewhere though

If I offended you by giving the impression that I do not see your ability to see nuances than I am sorry.
