Ths question was posed by Messian Dread in another post but I feel it should be reasoned with some justice.....

I think that the BIGGEST problem that many are seeing right now is that they are basing their opinions on the Liberal Media who is dead set against George Bush no matter what he does. There is such a spin in the reporting that nothing is said in corect context. There is NO real truth reported. They wanted so much for Al Gore to be elected that the Leftist Press is out to smear the One that they hate. I mean really I know that most here are not Replicans, but if you honestly evaluate the Press you should have no problem in agreeing that they take every chance to make GWB look like a bad man and an imbecile. If the camera was on any of us all day long they could find things equally as silly looking and if that was all that was shown your opinion polls would be bad.......

Now let's start with a LEVEL playing field.

Is there anything that has happened in History that God did not allow? Did not God allow Hitler to Murder 6 million Jews? Did He not allow the Roman Perscution? Why did He do this? I don't know but He is sovereign! He has every right to do so! So in other Words if the U.S. bombed Iraq then even if you didn't agree then you could rightly say that it was done according to God's will and plan. Which part of human history was not according to God's permission? Does He not raise up Kings and put down whom He will put down? If He was to want Sadam Husein out of the picture He could use a young Women with a tent peg as in the Bible. Really so many get so worked up about THEIR OWN OPINIONS and have never asked God what He was doing. Do I like the idea of War? NO WAY!

I was in the first Desert Storm and I didn't see one thing that would make me like the idea of doing it again. Would I support GWB in this effort? As much as the Bible says to PRAY for your leaders. Notice too that it NEVER said it mattered wether you liked that Leader or not. Please use some balance in your reasonings. Consider that it may in fact be God's will.

InI think Yeshua was a pacifist in every sense of the word...However, the world was also not the same at the time...Yeshua also did not run a country...InI am a pacifist...war apalls InI...but InI also do not run a country.

InI have yet to walk a mile in president bush's shoes, so judging his stance is not I place...but InI do know JahWord tells InI to honor him because he is a leader...

i overstand your reasoning about Jah being soveriegn blaminack, but just because God allows it to happen doesn't means that it is a good thing Jah allowed satan to rebel too and that was the beginning of all evil. this is a hard subject because it comes down to the will of Jah and our finite minds cannot comprehend how Jah works in that area or for that matter most areas.

i do know that as a follower of Jah i dont think it is the right thing to do. although personally it is rare when i think the US government is doing the right thing. dont think i am only coming down on US i dont know if there is a gov. in the world today that i would agree with

I sure expected to get flamed on that one!

Ok allow me to reinforce my point.....

Joh 2:15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;

Jdg 14:19 And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father's house.

2Ch 21:16 Moreover the LORD stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines, and of the were near the Ethiopians:

Psa 18:34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

Psa 144:1 A Psalm of David. Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:

Ecc 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Now these are just a few places that God either performed the war Himself or confrontation or made it happen. We can be sure that if in fact Christ is God then there is no doubt then that Christ was and is no pacifist. If He were then how could he be the Conquering Lion of Judah? No battle then what is menat by Conquering? Don't take this to say that Christ is behind a war in Iraq but we are talking about Would He bomb Iraq? Christ is just! He is yes full of mercy but He is also Judge Dread! And if Sadam Hussien isn't going to be faced with answering for killing his own people with Nerve Gas then who is? Bombs are not above Christ! How did Haile Selaasie run the Facists out of Ethiopia? It wasn't by some silly pacifism. There is times that battles must be fought. Innocents die..... Good? NO WAY!! Rquired at times? Unfortunatly...

One thing that I would say in Bushes defense is this... The news media has no real Idea of what Intelligence reports are given to him. They are not in the place to see the fullness of the situation. So believe what they say if you want, but the wise person will see them for what they are! Wolves!

no way can the men of old the ones who waged the war of Jah be compared to Bush, even H.I.M. these are not good examples.

if Bush is justified in bombing Iraq then poeple responcible for 9-11 are justified in doing what they did

It should be noted that the vast multitude of those fightings were not against fellow human beings but against unholy offspring of unholy mating between fallen angels and daughters of men.
David killed many of these and so did the ones before him. They are the Refaim, the Nephilim, the Enakim.

OK....... You two realize that you are losing this discussion by default? The aurguments are pretty weak so far, having no scriptural back up.

I don't use any of the statments made so far as comparisons to Bush but to say that Jesus does indeed go to War.

God often times reigned down slaughter on His enemies. Think of what He did to the Egyptians. The Canaanites. The Amorites. And the Babylonions. How did He do this? Most times through war but often through supernatural means. If Christ is God and I think that we all agree there, then yes Christ is not above making war to fulfill the ultimate plan. Are none of you looking forward to the day when Christ places His enemies under His feet in the Last Days? How will this be acomplished? By war.

Now let's focus on the whys of the original question.

Would Jesus Bomb Iraq? See, so many are clouding this with their personal opinions. May answer is not yes, but maybe if He wanted to, to fulfill the plan. He is the only one that knows the future. How do we know whether this will be the thing that sparks off the End? We don't. So, there for we have no idea if is acording to God's will of not.

All I am saying is that in times past Christ waged war. The Bible is clear that in Revealations He will do it again.

We must not limit God to our small opinions because He is not bound by humans little ideas.

Now for a little political side note.....

If you had a person in your back yard that wanted to burn your house down, would you allow him to stay or would you do all that you could to run him off? In this illustration Sadam Hussien is the one that sent the arsonists. Regardless of justifaction would you allow this person to burn it down even if he had a right to his anger? No I don't think that you would.

Justifaction has little really to do with it. It is a matter of best interests of his country that he is sworn to protect. Yes protect from Sadam. He is well known as a man that is murderous. He is hated even by his own people because of the atrocities that he has commited. Should no the World Community not be outraged that this man is not following the agreements that he made regardling Weapons? We all know that he doesn't mind using them, and looks forward to doing so. So take the high road if you want, but there is no justifaction for gathering Chemical or nuclear weapons. No the US has no business with them either, but the on the other hand the chances of us using them is SLIM!!! Why? Because our government is not a dictatorship. It is not in the hands of one insane mad man. Until you get behind Bush's desk and hear the reports that he hears you don't have the right to make this something that you bring God into unless He told you to.

NO I DON"T LIKE ANY OF THE IDEA OF A WAR WITH IRAQ. I would look for any other way that I could find. But what must be done? If he has the weapons he will use them against Israel. Or have them smuggled in to a Soccer Stadium in Europe to make point that he is insane.

Do WE DESERVE SOME OF THE THINGS THAT ARE HAPPENING AS A NATION? Probably. God is not mocked. When we have nothing but violence continually. Homosexuality is nothing more than a fashionable thing to do. Wickedness abounds here. But does it not every where? Yes it does!

See another thing that none of you has brought up in the possibility that God may in fact use this little mad man to humble the U.S. That is in fact a scary possibility.

I say that you need to stop the loathing and start looking at our personnal relationships with GOd and make sure that you are ready for what ever happens.
